Jo Evans

I haven’t always been a therapist, when I left school, I worked with Show Jumpers, taking care of world-class horses, travelling all over Europe and being part of the Spanish team at the Barcelona Olympics. I also ran a pub for 7 years, thankfully not during the pandemic! During lockdown, I took up running. Give me a wave if you see me out running on the lanes!

I started my career as a massage therapist in 1993, having attained an Internationally recognised qualification in Holistic Massage (ITEC) at The Oxford School of Massage. I am qualified in pregnancy massages, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, manual lymphatic drainage and natural facelift massage. I am also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, first aid trained and DBS cleared.

Since 2010, I have been working in a clinic alongside Osteopaths and Chiropractors. I have developed a greater understanding of how the body works and how it can be helped along through the skilled touch of massage.

I work as a mobile therapist from Wookey in Somerset, visiting guests at the Orchard Treehouses and cabins in Fenny Castle, the eco-lodges at Strawberryfields Park in Draycott, Beryl Country House hotel and home visits within 10-mile radius of Wells.

My hours are very flexible, and I accept bookings during the daytime, evening and some weekends. Bookings by appointment only and subject to availability.
